Unit Number

Definition:

Text field containing the number or portion of a larger building or complex. Unit Number should appear following the street suffix or, if it exists, the street suffix direction, in the street address. Examples are: "APT G", "55", etc.

How to Search:

To search for an exact match, enter the Unit Number you would like to search for. To search without exact parameters use the following shortcuts:

  • *Unit Number*-searches for the Unit Number if contained anywhere.
  • Unit Number*-searches for Unit Numbers that begin with the Unit Number.
  • *Unit Number-searches for Unit Numbers that end with the word.
  • !*Unit Number*-excludes the Unit Number from the search.
  • If you want to search for more than one Unit Number, and you want your results to include any of the MLS Numbers, you must use comma to separate the individual Unit Numbers and use * on each side. Example: *Unit Number*, *Unit Number*
  • If you want to search for more than one Unit Number, and you want your results to include all of of the Unit Numbers, you must use a space to separate the individual Unit Numbers and use * on each side. Example: *Unit Number* *Unit Number* *Unit Number*
  • If you want to exclude more than one Unit Number, and you want your results to exclude any of the Unit Number, you must use comma to separate the individual Unit Numbers and use * on each side. Example: !*Unit Number*, !*Unit Number*, !*Unit Number*
  • If you want to exclude more than one Unit Number, and you want your results to exclude all of of the Unit Numbers, you must use a space to separate the individual Unit Numbers. Begin with ! and then use * on each side. Example: !*Unit Number* !*Unit Number* !*Unit Number*
  • Special characters like "-" are not excluded. If searching for As-is, you will want to search *Unit Number*, *As is* in order to search for both variations of the term.
