Residential Sale Search

Help Topic 14713

A single-family residence that is for sale including residential dwellings of one unit that are for sale.

1. Click the Search menu.
2. Under By Property Type click Residential Sale.
3. Enter your search criteria. There are no required search fields.
4. You can add additional search fields by clicking Add/Remove in the Additional Fields section at the bottom of the page. Click here for instructions. As you enter your search criteria, you will see the number of matches available at the bottom of the page.
   1. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
   2. Click Add/Remove next to Additional Fields.

      

   3. On the Frequently Used Fields page, find the fields that you want to add either by scrolling through the Available Fields list or using the Search field.
   4. Select the fields that you want to use. To make multiple selections hold down SHIFT on your keyboard and click the first selection, then click the last selection you want. To make multiple, non-sequential selections hold down CTRL on your keyboard and click each selection you want.
   5. Click Add.
      • You can change the order of the fields by selecting them and then using the Move Up and Move Down buttons.
      • You can remove fields by highlighting them in the Selected Fields list and then clicking on the Remove button.
   6. Click Back to return to your search.
5. If you would like to add Map criteria to your search, click the Map tab.
6. Once all of your criteria is entered, click Results at the top or bottom of the page to view the results. You can view a maximum of 5,000 results.
7. Select which display you would like to view by choosing it from the Display drop-down menu at the top of the page.
8. You can revise your search by clicking on the Criteria tab at the top of the page or the Criteria button in the Actions menu at the bottom of the page.
9. You can also use the Speed Bar at the top of the screen to perform a quick search.

   The Speed Bar accepts two types of input:

   • Speed Bar Shorthand: a series of simple codes you enter into the Speed Bar. Your entries are translated into search criteria and runs the corresponding search.
   • Speed Bar Shortcuts: any search that you've Saved As a Speed Bar shortcut. Enter its name in the Speed Bar and run that saved criteria.

   Shorthand Tips

   • Keep it simple.
   • Case doesn't matter.
   • Combine your Shorthand codes in any order (except for bedrooms and bathrooms).
   • Put spaces between Shorthand codes, not commas.
   • Check the criteria on the results page to ensure it searched for what you asked for.

   Speed Bar Shorthand Examples

   MLS Numbers: 6382856 4473566 5968093 (search MLS#'s, use a space between numbers)

   Category Types: RES, COM, LOT, MF, RENT, CP

   Status: ACT for active; STL for settled; PND for pending; etc

   Property Type: SNG for single/detached; RTC for row/town/cluster; MOB for mobile

   Property Style: BNGLW for Bungalow; COLONI for Colonial; DUPLEX for Duplex, etc.

   Current Price (In Thousands): $500-550 or $500+ or $500-

   Bedrooms and Bathrooms: 4+ br 3+ ba for 4 or more bedrooms and 3 or more bathrooms

   Total Acreage: 1+ acres to see acreage over 1 acres

   County: County Name

   Street Number and Name: 623 Ocean (enter exact Street Name and omit Street Type)

   Street Name: Ocean (enter exact Street Name and omit Street Type)

   Street Name and Suffix: Ocean St (enter exact Street Name and abbreviated Street Suffix)

   Open Houses: OH 7/20/2014 or OH 0 (0 means today)

   Roster Search: ag smith or ag john smith or ag j* smith (use an * after the first initial - starts with a j)

   Office Search: off jones or off *jones*

   Tax ID Search: tax 057143020

   Combining Shorthand Codes - Examples:

   • RES ACT for Active listings
   • RES ACT 30032 for Active listings in Zip Code 30032
   • ACT 30032 $800+ 4+ for Active in 30032 at $800,000 or above with 4 or more bedrooms

   Field Examples:

   Status: ACT, AN, AC, PND, TO, STL, EXP, XR, WTH, WR

   Price (in Thousands): You must use a '$' before the dollar amount.

   • $300 --> Price equals $300,000
   • $300-350 --> Price between $300,000 and $350,000
   • $650+ --> Price equal to or greater than $650,000
   • $300- --> Price equal to or less than $300,000

   Beds: You may add a space and "br" after the number.

   • 3 br--> Exactly 3 Bedrooms
   • 3-5 --> Between 3 and 5 Bedrooms, inclusive
   • 3+ --> Equal to or greater than 3 Bedrooms
   • 3- --> Equal to or less than 3 Bedrooms

   Full Baths: You may add a space and "ba" after the number.

   • 3 ba --> Exactly 3 Full Baths
   • 3-5 --> Between 3 and 5 Full Baths, inclusive
   • 3+ --> Equal to or greater than 3 Full Baths
   • 3- --> Equal to or less than 3 Full Baths

   Zip Code: Enter a 5 digit Zip Code

   • 32963

   Approx Square Feet: You must add "sqft" after the number.

   • 3000+ sqft --> Equal to or greater than 3,000 sqft
   • 2000-2750 sqft --> Between 2,000 and 2,750 sqft, inclusive

   Approx Acres: You must add "acres" after the number.

   • 1 acres --> Exactly 1 Acre
   • 3.5+ acres --> Equal to or greater than 3.5 acres
   • 3.25-3.75 acres --> Between 3.25 and 3.75 acres, inclusive
